Welcome to Jinghui Yuan’s homepage
Jinghui Yuan is a R&D Associate Staff in the Vehicle Systems Integration Research Group (VSIR) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Prior to joining ORNL, Dr. Yuan was a postdoctoral research scholar in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Central Florida. He received the B.S. degree in civil engineering from Central South University, Changsha, China, in 2013, the M.S. degree in transportation planning and management from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree in transportation engineering from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL, USA, in 2019. He is now serving as young member of ASCE Transportation & Development Institute transportation safety committee. His research interests include intelligent transportation system, crash risk analysis and prediction, big data analytics, deep learning, high performance computing (HPC), connected and automated vehicles (CAV), and pro-active traffic management.

- 2022/03/21: Dr. Yuan is attending the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Technology Transitions’ Energy I-Corps program (Cohort 14). Dr. Yuan is serving as the Entrepreneurial Lead in the Team 171: Real-Twin (A Unified Scenario Generation Capability for Mobility Research). The PIs are Dr. Yunli Shao and Dr. Ross Wang.
